Are you a seasoned shopper when it comes to Black Friday deals? Maybe it’s your first time around. No matter how much or how little you participate in Black Friday, there’s always room for a celebratory brunch. If you have the day off from work, relax and enjoy time with family or friends. Here are a few fun ideas for a Black Friday brunch:
Gather at the house and munch on leftovers.
Since Thanksgiving was the day before, there’s a high chance you have leftovers waiting in the fridge for you. Don’t let them go to waste! Prepare extra turkey or ham slices with eggs, biscuits and grits for a savory breakfast dish, then add your leftover sides. Fuel up for your shopping day with coffee after!
Meet at your favorite restaurant.
If you plan to knock out most of your Black Friday deals at a mall or popular shopping center, try one of the restaurants nearby. It’s likely that they’ll be busy throughout the day with shoppers needing to stop and eat, so be prepared to wait if necessary. Stopping in the middle of your spree is a good way to re-energize and come up with a plan of action for the rest of your shopping day.
Create a “Shopping Charcuterie”.
This is another one that would be better done at home, and you could possibly use some leftovers for it as well! Lay out a spread of your favorite finger foods, meats, cheeses and fruits, and have a mimosa station nearby. This one would be good for Cyber Monday as well- it would give you something to munch on periodically between placing online orders!
